Mastiha Liqueur,
Product visualisation

A Greek liqueur for quiet evenings and introspective moods made with Chios mastiha.
The name Νύκτα ("night" in Greek) refers to Nix, the ancient goddess and personification of night. The visual identity uses symbols like stars, the moon, poppies, and olive trees, referencing Greek mythology and nature. Subtle details — columns, leaves, and the river Styx — add cultural depth and a sense of quiet myth.

SOLUTION

Νύκτα is a liqueur concept inspired by Nyx, the Greek goddess and personification of night. The visual direction is built around deep night, dreams, and quiet mysticism, using stars, the moon, poppies, olive branches, classical columns, and a reference to the River Styx.

Most competitors rely on minimal packaging, Greek ornaments, olive motifs, and glossy finishes to signal premium quality. The category often feels either too sterile and pharmaceutical or visually dated, with little connection between the product name, local culture, and a strong visual story.

I built a more atmospheric identity around mythology rather than decoration alone. The design combines contemporary illustration and bold color with archaic symbols, matte and glossy materials, and a cleaner composition. The goal was to make Νύκτα feel modern, collectible, and distinctly Greek, while still working as a premium product for a modern audience.
