EMCD

Crypto fintech

EMCD is an international crypto and fintech platform that brings mining, asset management, trading, and earning tools into one ecosystem. Its products include one of the world’s largest mining pools, a crypto wallet, P2P trading, Coinhold savings, crypto swaps, and API solutions for fintech and Web3 businesses.

As a Communication Designer, I was responsible for creating social media content, infographics, animations, and Reels, including developing ideas around current trends and news. I also created 3D visuals for social media and the EMCD app, and developed key visuals for events and marketing campaigns.

Tools: Adobe CC, Blender, AI

In our team, design didn’t start with a finished brief. We came up with the visual idea ourselves, from the main concept to 3D, illustration, or whatever format worked best. I especially enjoyed working on carousel posts, where one visual concept could unfold across several slides instead of living in a single image. I like building a clear flow from the first card to the last, keeping the main visual language consistent while adapting each slide to its own message. I also enjoy working with data and turning it into something clear, structured, and visually engaging.

For an interactive Instagram Stories series about Web3, I used a simple reveal mechanic: each Web3 element was hidden behind a pixelated image in the first story, with a poll asking users to guess what it was. The next story revealed the full visual and the answer.

For EMCD’s presence at Blockchain Life, we developed a visual system that worked across the full event experience, from key visuals and digital communications to merchandise and on-site materials. The goal was to keep everything recognizable as one campaign while adapting the same visual language to very different formats. I worked on the event visuals, merch, supporting communications, and later brought the project together into a Behance case study.

Bitcoin Pizza Day marks one of the first documented real-world purchases made with Bitcoin. On May 22, 2010, programmer Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 BTC for two pizzas, turning an ordinary order into a small piece of crypto history. For the visual direction, we went back to the aesthetics of 2010, mixing early-2010s digital nostalgia with retro games and pixel graphics. The result combines the look of the internet and gaming culture from the time of the original pizza purchase with a playful pixel-art approach.
